Edgerunners and the revival of cyberpunk media?

Edgerunners has been one of the greatest Cyberpunk piece of media in Anime form. The show so great in structure, pace and characters, created a revival of the player numbers of Cyberpunk 2077. Of course one could argue that the cyberpunk genre has been forgotten in exchange for a game, like when you google "cyberpunk".
I have another optic: I believe this is proof of a cyberpunk revival, a success others will try to replicate.
We live in a strange age, where the technology we always though of being futuristic is already here, in baby steps, thats why it is special. With it comes the questions, and ethical problems we are beggining to ask ourselves and the world. That was always the appeal of the cyberpunk genre.
Thats why the success of this piece of media, as well as lets say Altered Carbon on Netflix, Deus Ex Reboot, Ghost In the shell new adaptations, proofs we are in a kind of renaissance. Maybe we are not, but I do believe the contrary. The dilemas this genre brings up are actually now In real life being discussed (AI in this case) so this is giving me hope and a feel that perhaps, we could see more media in the comming years.
